The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults — RCIA
In Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church, adults who are considering the fullness of membership in the Catholic Faith Community are welcome to gather for weekly prayer, reflection and study meetings.
These sessions are for unbaptized or baptized adults who desire membership and/or who desire to receive Eucharist (Holy Communion) and Confirmation.
The faith journey begins in the fall and moves through until the sacraments are celebrated at the Easter Vigil.
The RCIA continues after Easter until the feast of Pentecost . The RCIA emphasizes conversion as a participant in the passion, death, and resurrection of Christ as well as the role of the entire praying, witnessing, and teaching Body of Christ in giving support and shape to that journey.Holy Communion) and Confirmation.
