Saint Anthony Catholic School Holds Scholastic Book Fair
Saint Anthony students and families will have the opportunity to take part in the Junior Scholastic Book Fair, coming this week, March 8 - 12. The fair will be held in our clubroom. Two mornings this coming week will be special. Tuesday morning, beginning at 7:30, will feature "Muffins With Mom." All moms who come to the book fair with their children will receive a muffin (the students will too). On Thursday at 7:30, we will have "Donuts With Dad." Every father who attends the book fair with his child will receive a donut to start the day (students too). Throughout the week, classes will visit during library time and the fair will be open until 3:15 every day. This will be a great event that encourages the children to read and it also raises funds for our library. So be sure to attend.
It's time to Register for the 2010-2011 School Year
We are beginning to look forward to next year here at Saint Anthony. Most of our returning families have registered already and we are now in the process of meeting with new families who wish to be enrolled here. We are very excited to be expending our enrollment once again. We expect to have two of each junior high class next year and there is room in each grade from sixth to eighth. There is also room in second grade. If you have a student or know of one who wishes to join our Saint Anthony family, please contact us for a tour. Our number is 954-467-7747.
God Bless all Saint Anthony parishioners and have a great week.

Vegetable Broth
Using vegetable scraps e.g. potato peels, carrot tops, onion peels, broccoli stems, celery tops, bell pepper tops, asparagus ends, or green bean ends - add about twice as much water as there are vegetables, a bit of salt, and bring to boil. Simmer for an hour and pour the broth through a strainer. Add cooked rice, pasta, egg noodles, tomato paste; onions, frozen vegetables, or crushed tomatoes. Voila! A Lenten Meal! Put money saved in Rice Bowl!
